This thing just flat out has bell-like clarity. Very rarely do I find an addictive clean tone. It totally murdered my old Princeton Silverface in both volume and sound. I just popped a pair of tubes in one I just picked up as a whim, and figured it could be a good grab-and-go amp or a flip.
